Ezgi holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Middle East Technical University and completed her master’s degree at Aston University in the UK. In the following years, she obtained the “Master Coach” certificate from the Behavioural Coaching Institute in London; completed the “Acceptance and Commitment Therapy” training led by Prof. Dr. Fatih Yavuz at the Academy of Conceptual Sciences in Istanbul; and “Fundamentals of Existential Analysis” training by Dr Ferhat Jak İçöz at Existential Academy Istanbul.
She has completed the theoretical and clinical requirements of the “Psychotherapy and Counselling” doctoral program jointly run by Middlesex University and the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling in London, and is currently finalising the dissertation phase. During her doctoral studies, she completed clinical placements at the Existential Academy in Istanbul and at Headstrong London.
She works as a psychotherapist at the "Existential Academy İstanbul", and also teaches in the “Fundamentals of Existential Analysis” program.
She is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a registered psychotherapist at the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and a member of the Turkish Psychological Association (TPD) and the Federation for Existential Therapy in Europe (FETE). She upholds the ethical principles of all these organisations in her professional practice.
